Slim Albaher vs Ryan Taylor fight date, UK start time and undercard

Slim Albaher and Ryan Taylor will finally settle their differences on Saturday night when the pair compete in the co-main event of Misfits Boxing's return show in Sheffield.

The pair were due to fight on Kingpyn Boxing's debut at the O2 Indigo in London, but ended up getting into it the day of the launch press conference in a hotel lobby and having their fight cancelled. Albaher suffered a broken orbital and was forced out of the event, while Taylor, who had previously headbutted an opponent, had his licence revoked by the PBA.

However, their issues have been solved, and now they are set to do battle again in a massive fight on KSI's new promotion, with DAZN broadcasting the bout. There is plenty of bad blood between the duo, although Albaher is a massive favourite given his impressive run of four wins with four knockouts including a vicious stoppage of Faze Temperrr last time out in August.

Here's all you need to know about this weekend's fight...

When is Slim Albaher vs Ryan Taylor?

The return of KSI's Misfits Boxing will take place on October 15 at the Utilitia Arena in Sheffield. The event will feature a series of Crossover boxing fights, including a main event where Jay Swingler takes on American comedian Cherdleys.

Crossover boxing matches under Misfits Boxing's banner are a mix of white collar boxing rules and professional logistics. Fighters wear 10oz gloves and compete over three minute rounds in bouts sanctioned under the PBA. However, Rahman Jr and Belfort's respective records will stay the same at 12-1 and 1-0 regardless. Standing eights are awarded liberally, and don't signal a 10-8 round.

What time will Slim Albaher vs Ryan Taylor start in the UK?

The event is taking place in the UK, which is great news for fight fans who are used to having to stay up late for cards in America. The co-main event ring walks will likely take place around 9.30pm, although no running order has been confirmed as yet. It is expected that there will be around eight bouts.

How to watch via TV and live stream

The fight will be broadcast around the world on DAZN as a part of the subscription package for fans worldwide, including the UK, Ireland, America and Canada. KSI's fight was a PPV, but this and the promotion's next event from America in November will be free for DAZN subscribers

"DAZN’s mission is to deliver the best schedule in boxing for the best price, but also to reach new audiences and the next generation of fight fans. Partnering with the platforms of the biggest stars in entertainment will only help us do that," said Joseph Markowski, EVP at DAZN Group.

"We see this partnership as a major growth opportunity for our business. In partnering with KSI, with whom we have previously achieved record-breaking success, we will build a long-term presence as the home of a new, emerging sports category. Tune in on 27 August for an incredible night that will showcase competitive pro matchups featuring the biggest crossover names alongside DAZN’s best-in-class production capabilities."

Quotes corner

Slim Albaher: "I feel good, I'm just grateful because honestly an incident like we had could have left me blind in my left eye, I'm just grateful that my eye is good and I get a chance to fight on a much bigger show on Misfits 1 which was the opportunity of a lifetime and I won by knockout.

"I don't even have to do this fight, but this man is so obsessed with me, during the last fight he was following me around, riling me up and trying to get a reaction out of me. I kind of want to bury this, bury him even though he's kind of already buried because nobody gives a f*** about him, he's the most hated man on the internet."

Ryan Taylor: "I wouldn't say we had any injuries, I messaged him to say 'we had a little scuffle, it's cool, let's keep it moving'. He claims he was injured, this is the internet and we know him, he doesn't have to live up to this persona."
