At least three crashes on the Dan Ryan Expressway Thursday morning all occurred near 47th Street, state police said.
The wrecks, one on the inbound lanes and two on the outbound, happened near 47th Street between 5 and 6:30 a.m., according to a state trooper. The inbound crash happened in the local lanes, and the outbound crashes were reported in the express lanes.
No injuries were reported during the crashes, and the rain “did play a factor” in the incidents, a state trooper said.
