Heartbreaking tributes have been paid to a young motorcyclist who died following a crash in Newcastle.
The collision, involving a car and a motorbike, took place on Walker Road in Byker at 1.45pm on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the area but the motorcyclist, John Bourne, 21, of Walker, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family are being supported by specially-trained family liaison officers as inquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Meanwhile, numerous tributes have been paid to John, with many leaving condolence messages on social media.
Flowers have also been left near the scene of the crash.
One bouquet, left by family members, had this moving note: "RIP John. Gone but never forgotten. Can't believe we are writing this, sleep tight bonny lad. From uncle Thomas, Roz, Tanya and Tasha."
In addition, scores of messages have been left on Facebook.
One said: "Absolutely heartbreaking. Thinking of your family especially your mam dad and sisters. Rest in peace John mate, gone too soon but never ever forgotten."
Another added: "R.I.P John! You will be a massive miss!"
A third wrote: "Rest easy my mate, thinking of you and all your family."
Northumbria Police has asked for any witnesses, or those with information, to come forward and help with their inquiries.
