Taylor Swift has confirmed she will be kicking off the European leg of her Eras tour in May next year, with nine UK gigs already confirmed, and a further two in Ireland.
As frenzied fans took to the internet to register for pre-sale events following the announcement yesterday, demand for tickets for the London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Dublin and Liverpool shows is expected to be extremely high.
UK Swifties who are lucky enough to get their mitts on Taylor tickets should expect to see hotel prices close to Arena's skyrocket as show time approaches, so savvy fans might want to look into booking their hotel rooms now.

We took a sneak peek at hotel prices in the cities where Taylor will be performing and already there is a distinct increase in prices for accommodation close to major venues.
The Fox and Goose Hotel near Wembley, for example, was offering double rooms on June 21, 2024, for £241 just yesterday. Today the same room is on the booking.com website has increased to £449 - that is a price hike of over £200 in 'Taylor tax.'
OYO The Arch Wembley Stadium which is just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the venue, is already fully booked on June 21 and 22 next year, the date of her first shows in the city.
Whilst it is not uncommon for hotels and other establishments to cash in on big-name ticket attractions, it does make it harder for fans to book the accommodation they may need.
We looked for affordable hotels with accommodation still available close to each venue, ahead of the ticket pre-sale which could see prices rise even further.
Edinburgh
The 'Blank Space' star has confirmed that she'll play two nights at BT Murrayfield on June 7 and June 8 next year. The huge 60,000-plus capacity rugby stadium is located to the west of the city centre and hotels in the area are already looking low on capacity, with 96% of places to stay already unavailable on booking.com.
The cheapest accommodation we could see includes the Balmore Guest House with double rooms starting from £315 for two adults on June 7 or the trendy Kick Ass Greyfriars Hostel with double or twin rooms starting from £356.
Larger establishments such as the Yotel Edinburgh only have suites left with prices starting from a hefty £899 for a one-night stay.
Liverpool
Swifties planning to travel to Liverpool to see their idol may have better luck booking a hotel with only 88% of places already booked out.
Taylor will be playing at the Anfield Stadium on June 14 and 15, and The Sandon Hotel is offering a family studio room that sleeps six for £228.
Elsewhere in the city, The Leonardo Hotel has double rooms for £288 and The Shankly Hotel has a double room with a spa bath to rest weary dancing feet for £327.
Cardiff
Home of the Wales national rugby union team, the huge 74,500-capacity stadium sits on the east bank of the River Taff, in the heart of Cardiff city centre.
With the pop megastar coming to the city on a Tuesday, chances are availability will be slightly better, but prices are still expected to soar on the night.
The Clayton Hotel is located just 450 yards from the entrance to the stadium and currently has rooms available for £306 per night on June, 18. The upscale Parkgate Hotel which is just across the road has posh accommodation starting from £631 per night for fans who want to experience the city in style.
Cardiff Swifties should act quickly though, as at the time of writing, hotel rooms close to the stadium are booking out pretty fast.
London
Taylor will be visiting the capital twice during the summer of 2024, and in a city where hotels are never cheap, fans can expect to have to dig deep to stay there.
Playing the iconic Wembley Stadium on June 21 and 22 and then again on August 16 and 17, ticketholders will be visiting London at the height of the tourist season.
For the June dates, the best value accommodation we could find starts from £298 at the Kings Head Hotel in Acton. Just over 3 miles from the stadium itself, Transport for London offers numerous ways to make the short journey to Wembley.
Travelodge London Wembley High Road and Travelodge London Wembley are both within walking distance of the venue, as is the Premier Inn London Wembley Park, but none are currently showing availability for either the June or August dates.
London is also home to many hostels and small lodgings that can be considerably cheaper than booking a hotel room. Swifties needing to stay in the city overnight should keep an eye on sites like Booking.com, Expedia and Hotels.com to see what availability pops up.
