Business communication platform Slack is down for many users this afternoon. The company said it had received multiple reports of problems.
Online tracker Downdetector, which monitors outages of platforms online, confirmed that users were reporting issues. Slack is used by many companies to communicate internally, particularly in the era of hybrid and remote working.
It allows users to send messages, share files and collaborate as a team. The issue currently appears to centre around a key function - sending messages.
Posting on Twitter, a spokesperson for Slack said: "We are receiving multiple reports of threads not loading and some users are unable to send messages. We’re investigating will update as you soon as possible. We appreciate your patience in the meantime."
