A man has died after an apparent skydiving accident in western NSW.
Emergency services were called to Mount Borah in Wimborne, near Tamworth, about midday on Tuesday.
Crews were told a man had "impacted heavily" on the ground.
Paramedics treated the man but he died at the scene.
NSW Police established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
Officers will examine the man's parachute and equipment as part of their investigation and will prepare a report for the coroner.
