Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling has made a sensational U-turn on his decision to step down as the host of Soccer Saturday.
In October, the legendary Hartlepool United fan made the gut-wrenching announcement live on air that he was stepping down from his role in the Sky Sports production. However, he's now confirmed he's had a change of heart.
He said (via Sky Sports): "Sky Sports is my home, and the Soccer Saturday team are a big part of my life. As the end of the season approached and I was preparing to say goodbye, I realised that I was not ready to blow the final whistle and leave the best job in the world.

"I am thrilled to be staying and excited about moving the show forward and creating more special Saturday afternoons on Sky Sports." There have been many iconic moments on the show throughout the years the 67-year-old has been in the presenting chair.
In recent years, midweek matchdays with Champions League coverage have seen Julian Warren step in as host but the traditional Saturday slot will be occupied by Stelling for another year at least.
