Sky launches half price broadband deal - but customers must act fast

With the price of just about everything continuing to rise, there may be a chance for you to save some cash on your broadband.

It comes a Sky launch a massive money-saving promotion offering a whopping 50 per cent off bills for the remainder of 2023. It means that those signing could be paying as little as £17 until January 2024.

The impressive offer providers potential customers with a couple of options to choose from - including standard downloads and speedier full-fibre speeds. For those looking for the basic package, Sky is offering their Superfast service, offering up to 61Mbps - for just £17 each month for the next six months.

The Superfast package provides speeds capable of downloading a full HD movie in around nine minutes, with a PS5 game downloadable in two hours.

The faster option of full-fibre can also be used if the service is available in your area, with the Sky Ultrafast Plus option also available for half price - for £24 a month.

This plan provided speeds of up to 500Mps, meaning an entire HD film can be dowloaded in under two minutes.

However, the reduced costs will only last for six months before prices rise to the standard fee. It means that from January 2024 Superfast will cost £34.50 and Ultrafast will be billed at £48 per month.

There is no upfront cost for the deals but there is a requirement to sign up to an 18-month contract.
