A struggling dad-of-two living on just £66 a week broke down in tears after being offered his dream job by a multimillionaire.
Angel Blanco Lista has been sharing a a one-bed council flat with his wife Santana and their two children, with Angel sleeping on the floor of their Notting Hill Gate home. The family are in £9,000 debt and rely on Universal Credit to put food on the table.
Angel works shifts at a Leylands shop and is left with just £66-per-week to feed his family. He had attempted to launch his own digital marketing agency a few years ago, but had to give it up after becoming unable to provide.
In the latest episode of Channel 5 's Rich House, Poor House, Angel was offered a much-needed lifeline.
In the show, Angel swapped homes with Harry Saunders, a 24-year-old multimillionaire who runs a successful SEO business worth an estimated £12 million..
Harry was impressed after hearing how Angel had once attempted to kickstart his own digital agency career and explained how a businessman had taken a chance on him when he was just 17.
Harry had been homeless at the time and managed to receive funding for an idea he pitched during a business meeting.
He said: "I had no money, literally nothing. This experience helped shape me.
"It's probably the reason that I am successful because I kind of went through that kind of hardship, I had to build that resilience, I didn't have another choice or another option."
Harry then offered Angel an SEO content brief role at his company. He said he would pay Angel £150 for each brief and promised to give him several a month so he could earn enough money to support his family.
Stay-at-home mum Santana was also offered help by the businessman, after revealing she has dreams of setting up her own skincare business.
She said: "When I come home I'm just so exhausted, I don't have the energy or the time to invest into the business I actually want to get into.
"We just need that support, we need somebody to push us, to be there for us, someone who's already been there."
In response, Harry said: "It doesn't matter where I am in the world, I will be around, to guide you through and to help you guys make this work."
