Prices at a number of public toilets at Skegness and along the Lincolnshire coast have doubled this month. Facilities across East Lindsey District Council that are run by Danfo will see prices increase from 20p to 40p.
As reported by Lincolnshire Live of April 1, 2022, the costs at public toilets in Skegness, among other places, has increased. The doubling of fees covers all paddle gates run by Danfo for East Lindsey District Council.
North Parade and Tower Gardens in Skegness are two of the locations have risen. A total of 13 locations are now charging double their previous fee.

All Skegness public toilets will now be priced at 40p following the rise, as well as all locations in Mablethorpe. Sutton on Sea will also see both of their public toilets double in price.
On their website, East Lindsey District Council say they provide toilets across the district in partnership with Danfo LTD. It is at the Danfo-run toilets that prices have increased.
Lincolnshire Live has contacted ELDC for a comment on the price rises, but it is yet to respond.
