The incident happened at Brent Cross Shopping Centre - (PA Archive)

Six teenage boys remain in custody a day after a group stormed into the Apple Store in Brent Cross and stole “a large number of mobile phones”.

Police were called at around 2.35pm on Sunday to reports that a group had entered the shop in the shopping centre before stealing the devices.

Footage of the incident appears to show a group with their hoods up pushing past a security guard as frightened shoppers run out of the shop.

The group are then seen sprinting from the shop holding a number of mobile phones.

The teenage suspects, aged between 14-18, were all quickly arrested on suspicion of robbery and taken to custody, where they remained on Monday afternoon.

The Met Police has said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
