A number of top pubs and bars across Northern Ireland have been selected to compete for the title of National Pub & Bar of the Year 2023.
Six venues have been officially named the best pubs and bars across the region with one from each county being selected to battle it out for the top spot.
They are among the 94 pubs and bars across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland that have scooped up a prestigious County Winner title as part of this year's awards.

The grand final will take place in London later this year, where one of the six pubs and bars will be named the top in Northern Ireland and put them in the running for the overall National Pub and Bar of the Year accolade.
Tristan O’Hana, editor of Pub & Bar magazine, which runs the awards said: “We were overwhelmed by the level and quality of entries this year.
"It just goes to show what magnificent work is going on across the UK hospitality sector. With outrageous energy costs, recruitment shortages and a punishing taxation system, these businesses are once again facing tough times.
"Now, more than ever, it’s vital that people support their local pubs and bars. So, ahead of the long Easter weekend, why not check out the finest in your county?"
The winners are:
- Tyrone - Bogans
- Down - The Maghera Inn
- Fermanagh - The Taphouse
- Armagh - The Hole in the Wall
- Derry - Peadar O'Donnell's
- Antrim - Hearth
