England picked up their first win before Ireland cemented their credentials as Six Nations favourites on the second weekend of action.
In a topsy-turvy encounter, England looked set for another narrow defeat but Elliot Daly stepped up with a last-gasp try to snatch victory against France.
Earlier in the day, Italy battled to a 22-15 win over Wales in miserable conditions in Rome, piling the pressure on Warren Gatland.
On Sunday, Ireland took centre stage and another step towards the Triple Crown, as they backed up their opening win over England with a routine win at Murrayfield, as they beat Scotland 32-18 in hugely impressive fashion.
