A baby boy has tragically died at a home in a Scots town, sparking a police investigation.
The alarm was raised shortly before 10am on Friday, October 21 when officers received a report of a six-month-old child having died suddenly at a property in Elgin, Moray.
The circumstances surrounding the infant's passing are not yet known, but cops are currently treating the death as unexplained. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
A police spokesman said: “We received a report of the sudden death of a six-month-old baby boy at a property in Elgin, around 10.25am on Friday, 21 October.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
