Six Manchester United players who are now on international duty

Manchester United are taking a break from action this weekend due to the Premier League's winter break, which also doubles up as an international break for some.

As always, players in the United ranks have been called up for a host of different countries around the world.

Unlike normal international breaks, European countries are not taking part in any fixtures over the coming weekend so the number of players leaving the club is less than usual.

Take a look below at exactly where and when the international United stars will be playing over the next few days.

All kick off times are based on the UK:

Alex Telles and Fred - Brazil

Alex Telles and Fred have both joined up with the Brazilian national team for their World Cup Qualifiers.

Brazil currently sit top of their qualification group and will travel to Ecuador on Thursday, January 27 for a 9pm kick off.

Ecuador lie third in the table but are 12 points behind the Verde-Amarela having played a game more.

The following Wednesday (February 2), Brazil will return to home soil for another World Cup Qualifier, this time against Paraguay who sit second bottom of the CONMEBOL table.

That game kicks off at 00:30am.

Zidane Iqbal - Iraq

Youngster Zidane Iqbal has yet to make his international debut but it is believed that he could feature against Iran on Thursday, January 27 at 2:30pm.

Iraq are currently struggling after six games in their Group A World Cup Qualifying group. They lie second bottom without a victory so far.

On Tuesday, February 1, Iraq will then travel to Lebanon in another must-win match if they want to keep any small hope alive of catching South Korea.

That game will kick off at midday.

Eric Bailly - Ivory Coast

United centre-half Eric Bailly has been on international duty with the Ivorian national team at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Having topped their group, the Elephants face a tough test against Mo Salah's Egypt in the last 16.

A defeat will see Bailly's countrymen leave the competition earlier than they would have liked.

The knockout match kicks off on Wednesday, January 26 at 4pm.

Edinson Cavani - Uruguay

Fresh off the back of an assist against West Ham, Edinson Cavani heads into international duty with Uruguay facing an uphill battle for World Cup qualification.

Uruguay are out of form but will be hopeful of a victory against struggling Paraguay to build some momentum; the match kicks off at 11pm on Thursday, January 27.

Next up for Cavani and his teammates is another 11pm kick off, this time at home to Venezuela who are languishing bottom of the qualification group. This fixture takes place on Tuesday, February 1.

Hannibal Mejbri - Tunisia

Tunisia shocked the world on Sunday when they defeated Nigeria to make it through to the quarter finals of AFCON.

Mejbri watched that game from the bench but he will be hoping to play some part in their next knockout match with Burkina Faso.

The match kicks off at 7pm on Saturday, January 29, and like Bailly, defeat would spell the end for the youngster's tournament.
