There have been six deaths and 3,175 new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia today.

The deaths included a man in his 70s, two men in their 80s, two women in their 80s and a woman in her 90s.

There are currently 28,113 active cases in South Australia, with 247 people in hospital, including 11 in intensive care.

Today's case numbers are more than yesterday's 2,816 but less than Saturday's

Testing numbers were lower over the weekend than those over Easter.

Large crowds attended Anzac Day ceremonies across the state, after numbers were restricted last year due to social distancing.

Some RSLs, though, limited patrons to returned service people or served breakfasts outdoors.

SA Health COVID-19 vaccination clinics are closed today for Anzac Day, but testing sites are still open, with short waiting times.
