Everton fans are waiting with anticipation to see what their new selection of kits will look like for the upcoming 2022/23 Premier League season.
The Blues are entering into the third year of their deal with hummel, which has seen the sportswear brand producing some extremely popular strips over the last couple of years. The wait for the next offerings has been a bit longer, given that the club are changing their main sponsor on the front of their shirts next term from Cazoo to Stake.com.
Because of that, any glimpse of the new kit has been delayed until the contract with the current shirt sponsor has officially run out at the end of this month. That will open the door to supporters finally getting to see what their players will be wearing next season, although any specific reveal has not been shared as of yet.

That has not stopped supporters speculating over what the new kits could look like, and one fan in particular has taken it up themselves to release their own designs.
Twitter user @_luke1878_ over recent weeks has shared a number of concepts on the social media platform. As with some of Everton's real kits in recent seasons, they have often been inspired by strips that the club have worn over the course of their long history - with the most recent example of that being the "Black Watch" inspired offering from last season.
Some of the concept designs are inspired by kits as far back as the 1880s, while some take design cues from 1905 and through into the 1940s and 1950s. Both home and away kits have been covered by these fan designs, which often pick up a lot of attention and reaction from supporters.
Earlier this month, hummel seemed to tease Evertonians over the potential release of a new shirt, effectively confirming that fans would have to wait to catch their first glimpse of the 2022/23 strip. They tweeted: "Did you know that 80% of Premier League home shirts last season were released in July or later? Food for thought."
While these concept designs are not the real thing, they're enough to whet the appetite ahead of an upcoming official reveal in the coming weeks.
