One of Mugga Way's newest homes is on the market for a multimillion-dollar price tag.
83 Mugga Way in Red Hill is a four-bedroom, five-bathroom home in the heart of the suburb.
It was designed by well-known architect Terry Ring as a high-end family home.
The house has four-metre high ceilings and polished concrete floors.
It is designed for entertaining, with a large dining area, wine bar and four ovens. A large bench space means family meals can be prepared with ease.
The house comes with a caterer's pantry, separate to the kitchen, which has a cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and its own door to the alfresco terrace.
A six-seat island bench and dining areas can accommodate for 40 people during a sit-down dinner.
The house is divided into several sections. A full-height, concealed panel in the kitchen pivots to provide entry to second wing, which includes entertaining areas, two ensuite rooms and a guest room big enough for a queen bed.
Another wing gives way to a parents' retreat, with a study and access to a pool via a terrace.
In the backyard, a pool is the centrepiece. A studio, rainfall shower and outdoor sink are all built around it, framed by lawns.
While the property does not have much in the way of a garden, well-kept grass and a stone bath leading to the front of the house provide a sleek look.
Selling agent Mario Sanfranceso, of Blackshaw, said he expected to sell the home to a family wanting to get into the area or close to the nearby grammar schools.
Neighbouring properties have been sold to embassies, and Mr Sanfrancesco said he would not rule another embassy sale out.
The property was sold in 2020 to the current owner, who knocked down the previous residence before building the new home.
The property is being sold by expression-of-interest which closes on November 27.
Mr Sanfrancesco was tight-lipped on a price but similar Red Hill properties have sold for upwards of $6 million during 2024.
