Sister Wives star Meri Brown call out for photoshop 'nightmare' in latest uploads

Sister Wives star Meri Brown has been of using heavily photoshopping her latest Instagram selfie.

The TLC reality star, 54, has undergone a glamorous transformation since splitting from her husband of 32-years Kody Brown last December.

And while many fans have praised her new look, her latest image shared on social media on Thursday had people concerned that she may be relying a bit too much on editing and filters.

In the picture with her friend, Meri can be seen sporting completely smoothed-out, flawless skin while her eyes seem brighter and her teeth look whiter.

The image quickly began circulating online, with one person labelling it a "FaceTune nightmare".

Another person commented: "I really wish filters like this weren't so prominent," while a third added: "Women age. We have fine lines and wrinkles. It's not a bad thing."

Someone else chimed in: "Why does she do this when we see her real face on TV ??"

Meanwhile, the comments under Meri's Instagram picture were gushing, with one person writing: "You look so happy. Goood to see."

It was also added by another: "Meri your always beautiful but now you are glowing."

Meri announced her and Kody's decision to split after more than 30 years together back in December.

She later revealed that it was Kody who ended their relationship and added that the end of their relationship was painful.

Appearing on an episode of Sister Wives : One on-One, Meri watched a clip of Kody saying he doesn't consider himself to be married to her.

In a confessional, he told cameras: "If she wanted to move on and marry another, she wouldn't get into an argument with me."

Host Sukanya Krishnan then asked Meri how she felt hearing those words from Kody.

"It just doesn't make sense to me that he would be so frustrated with Christine and be like, 'She just made this decision. We didn't consult, we didn't talk, she just made the decision' and then he says, 'No, I don't consider myself married to Meri'.

"Like, he just made the decision. I've never heard him say that to me," she admitted.

Since then, Meri has spoken out about not regretting the time she spent in past relationships.

Touching on relationships in the video, Meri said they should feel "expansive and exciting and not that you have to shrink to fit in" - which might have alluded to her union with ex Kody.
