Sister Wives star Kody Brown has been criticised for his "manipulative" behaviour towards his ex-wife Meri Brown and is accused of keeping her trapped in a "loveless relationship".
Kody's daughter Gwendlyn Brown said she was "glad" that Meri, 52, was able to "get out of that situation" and questioned her father's motives for trying to "stay with all of these women".
In her latest YouTube video, the 21-year-old sat down to watch an episode of the popular TLC reality show and shared her honest opinions about the end of Kody and Meri's marriage.
In the show, Meri confessed to wanting to stay in the relationship, but Kody secretly said he didn't consider himself married to her anymore.
Gwendlyn, who Kody shares with his ex-wife Christine Brown, concluded: "He's just leading her on at this point."
She added: "It is so unfortunate to see my dad going off on how he and Meri basically have this done relationship.
"[Meri] doesn't know that. They haven't had a conversation about it. And I think that's what's so important about what my mom did with him.
"She said, 'We are done.' She told him to his face that they were over and Kody hasn't done anything."
Gwendlyn then hit out at the way her father treated Meri.
"It feels completely manipulative to me because he's basically keeping this information from her and letting her be in this loveless relationship with this false hope that it's going to be fixed.
"How does it benefit him to stay with all of these women? Does he consider them trophies?
"Does he consider them his path into heaven? I don't understand why he feels this humongous necessity to be with them still," she said.
The YouTube star added: "I'm just glad that ones that needed to get out of that situation, have gotten out of that situation."
Meri and Kody tied the knot in 1990 before 53-year-old Kody introduced three more wives — Janelle, Christine and Robyn Brown — into their family.
Meri said the decision to split was made by Kody and that the end of their relationship has been painful, but admitted she is open for a "reconciliation" with her former partner.
In an episode of their show, she added that she thought they were working through their problems and said her husband "led me to believe that he was trying".
