Sister's heartbreaking appeal to find lost video tape of dead brother in Falkirk

The sister of a man who died 20 years ago has made a heart breaking appeal to find a video tape of him that was dropped in Falkirk.

Cheryl Black, 34, is begging anyone who might have picked up the footage of her brother Alex Black, playing football with his brothers, to contact her or hand it into police.

Alex was just 18-years-old when he was killed in a horror car accident.

The tape is thought have been dropped around 5pm on Tuesday January 25, somewhere between the high rise flats at Callander Park and Asda bus station in the town centre.

Speaking to Falkirk Live, Cheryl said: "This tape means everything to us.

"It's the only footage we had of Alex before he passed away, and we are desperate to get it back.

"My other brother Liam, was on his way to get the video converted into a DVD for all the family, so we all had a copy.

"My mum is absolutely gutted, we all are actually, we have been out looking for it ourselves but have had no luck.

"I really hope someone has picked it up after spotting it in the street and we get it back. We would even offer a reward - it means that much to us."

"I am devastated."

If you have come across the tape email: news.falkirklive@reachplc.com or alternatively hand it into your nearest police station.
