Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi praised on Friday the efforts of the Armed Forces in carrying out their tasks “efficiently and competently on all strategic fronts of the Egyptian state.”
Sisi’s comments came at a meeting with Armed Forces chiefs after performing Friday prayers at Al-Mosheer Tantawy Mosque, marking Martyr's Day, which falls on March 9.
The meeting highlighted the latest developments and events at the local, regional, and international levels, and their impact on the region.
The President reaffirmed that the Egyptian people have always backed their Armed Forces and the National Police Force to preserve the security of the homeland and its sanctity.
He saluted the souls of the nation’s martyrs, who sacrificed their lives to defend Egypt and its great people.
