Students at a Co Tyrone school have received a good luck message from famed English musical writer Tim Rice ahead of a musical production.
Pupils at St Joseph’s Donaghmore had been gearing up for a performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat when they received the message from Tim, who was the lyricist for the original show.
Sir Tim is best-known for collaborating with Andrew Lloyd Webber, with the pair writing Joseph, as well as Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita.

“I’m wishing St Joseph’s in Donaghmore every success with Joseph in Egypt and other places,” Tim says in the video.
“Particular thanks to Mrs Corr, Sean O’Neill and all the cast and everybody below stage, off stage, in the wings, the prompters, the usherettes.
“I wish you all every success and I’m very grateful that you’re doing Joseph, thanks a lot.”
Head of music at the school Roisin Corr said it was a great boost for the cast ahead of their first performance on Tuesday evening.
“If I never ever do another thing in my life, I have reached the Promised Land with Tim Rice saying my name and wishing our whole cast good luck for Joseph.," Roisin said.
"What a lasting memory for all the pupils involved and myself."
The Co Tyrone school is celebrating 100 years since its foundation in 1922, with the production of Joseph one of a number of events hosted to mark the centenary.
