Sir Elton John remembers the "joyous" and "humbling" moment he danced with the Queen at Windsor Castle in a sweet tribute.
The global superstar looked back on the precious moments he spent with the late monarch as she was laid to rest.
He shared a photo of himself with Her Majesty meeting early into his career, and another from more recent times.
In both photos the Queen beams at Elton, who smiles back as he shakes her hand.
He wrote a touching tribute in the caption: "Today I'll be joining the rest of the world in remembering Her Majesty The Queen.
"My own memories of her are filled with joy and admiration. The Queen honoured me with a CBE, a knighthood and the Companion of Honour. I was lucky enough to perform at three of her Jubilees.
"They were always joyous and humbling experiences. But it was the moments out of the public eye that I will most fondly remember her for; dancing together to ‘Rock Around the Clock’ at Windsor Castle or experiencing her great wit, warmth and humour first hand. She served with grace and dedication, and she will be sorely missed."
The singer was on the road for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour when the news of the Queen's passing broke.
He was performing in Toronto, Canada at the time and delivered a heartfelt speech and dedicated a song for the much-loved royal.
"We have the saddest news about the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth," John said.
"She was an inspiring person to be around. I've been around her and she was fantastic.
"She led the country through some of our greatest and darkest moments with grace, decency, and a genuine care and warmth."
He then gave a stunning performance of "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" to the emotional audience.
Elton was made CBE in 1995 and was then knighted by the Queen in 1998.
As he mentioned in his caption, he was later appointed a Member of the Order of Companion of Honour on the 2020 New Years' Honours list.

He was unable to attend the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace but he had pre-recorded a performance of Your Song for the occasion where he sang at Windsor Palace.
The star also pre-recorded a performance of I Want Love for the 2002 Party at the Palace for the Queen's Golden Jubilee, this time at the Music Room inside Buckingham Palace.
For the Diamond Jubilee in 2012 he appeared in person to play favourites such as I'm Still Standing, Your Song and Crocodile Rock.
