Sir Alex Ferguson appeared at the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday where he was asked who he would like to win the Premier League title this season, with Arsenal and Manchester City fighting for supremacy.
Arsenal currently sit five points ahead of Pep Guardiola's men in the race for the Premier League trophy, having won 21 of their top-flight 27 matches this term. However, City have experienced a title chase before and know what it takes to come from behind and win, having claimed four of the last five titles.
Unsurprisingly, when collared by ITV, the Manchester United icon was in no mood to pick a winner as he enjoyed a day at the races. Asked about choosing between City and Arsenal for the title. Ferguson, who previously won the Premier League on 13 occasions before retiring in 2013, gave a cheeky smile, a knowing nod and declared: "I'm not interested."
Ferguson's horse, Hermes Allen, was competing in the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle, which was the first race of the day at Cheltenham. Unfortunately for Ferguson, Allen faded away as Impaire Et Passe won by several lengths.
Speaking before the race, Ferguson said: "We're very excited about it, he's a really good horse. Obviously we've got the Irish to beat, but we're confident."
The world-famous festival started on Tuesday with around 68,000 people at Cheltenham racecourse - and Ferguson has hailed the event and admitted it was incredible. He added: "It was unbelievable [yesterday], Honeysuckle. Everyone felt the emotion of the thing."

The Gunners could move eight points clear of City with a win over Crystal Palace on Sunday, with Guardiola's men in FA Cup action instead this weekend.
Meanwhile, Ferguson's former side United are all but out of the race to win the Premier League after dropping points in their last two matches against Liverpool and Southampton. The Red Devils sit 16 points behind leaders Arsenal but have played a game fewer than the Gunners.
Erik ten Hag's side are next in action when they face Real Betis in the Europa League last-16 second-leg in Spain on Thursday night as they attempt to progress into the quarter-final. The Red Devils lead 4-1 from the first-leg at Old Trafford and are all but in the hat for the next round.
Speaking after the first-leg, Ten Hag said: "I think we played a very good game. In both halves. At half-time we should have already been 3-0 up but it was 1-1, we made one mistake and were punished for it. But I think we played well, especially in the second half. 4-1, good goals, and a good performance also, to give something to the fans."
