Another sinkhole has appeared in County Durham making it the second one just this week.
The sinkhole was discovered on Station Road in Stanley on Friday evening causing traffic disruption in the area. The roundabout remains partially closed and the A6076 Station Road is also closed at B6173 Barn Hill.
A second sinkhole, measuring 4ft wide, forced a road in Medomsley Bank in Consett to close after it was discovered on the A694 on Tuesday afternoon.

Durham County Council confirmed repairs on the sinkhole are to begin next week.
A spokesperson for Durham County Council said: "Following investigations into a sinkhole at Station Road, Stanley, we need to partially close the roundabout where it has appeared from this evening (Friday 20 May.)
"Please follow the short diversion if you are affected by this.
"Our highways team will begin repairs next week.
