Singers from across Paisley are being invited to channel their inner Freddie Mercury this Easter with a new workshop.
Rock Choir is hosting the fun event, which will focus on Queen’s iconic hit song, Somebody to Love.
Open to Rock Choir members, their friends and family and the public, the one-day Somebody to Love workshop will take place on April 9 at the Methodist Church Hall in Paisley, led by Rock Choir leader, Charlene Gordon.
Everyone taking part will have the opportunity to learn the vocals to the Queen track in a relaxed and fun environment – improving their singing and perfecting the iconic harmonies before a final performance of the song at the end of the workshop.

Caroline Redman Lusher, creator and creative director of Rock Choir, said: “Somebody to Love is such an uplifting song and it’s particularly fun to sing as part of a choir.
“When the song builds and the harmonies blend, it’s a moving and dramatic experience to sing this song and to contribute to such a powerful sound.
“We hope that anyone who loves Queen or simply loves to sing will join with our Rockies – the Rock Choir members – and take part.
“We also invite anyone who is interested in joining Rock Choir in the future to come along and see what it’s all about.
“The Somebody to Love experience is the perfect opportunity for Rockies to introduce their friends and family members to us and give them a taste of what being part of the Rock Choir family is like.”
There’s no audition and no need to read music. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or ability. The four-hour course costs £25 per person.
