Singer Sabrina Carpenter breaks up with Barry Keoghan over his 'party lifestyle'

Sabrina Carpenter has reportedly broken up with Barry Keoghan after being unwilling to keep up with the actor’s party lifestyle.

The singer allegedly dumped the Irish actor three weeks ago - just months after he appeared in her music video for hit song ‘Please Please Please’

Carpenter got together with Keoghan last December on the back of publicity for his hit film Saltburn.

The pair posed in their first photo together at the Grammys in February with onlookers saying they “looked cute together”

Bafta-award winner Keoghan split from his long-term girlfriend Alyson Kierans last year, having had a child called Brando in August 2022.

Keoghan, aged 31, is six years older than Carpenter, 25, but the relationship is said to have fallen apart due to the actor’s drinking.

A source told the Sun: “Barry acts like an idiot when he is drunk and Sabrina was getting increasingly frustrated.

“He has always been a party animal and Sabrina was fed up with his antics. She is soaring in the charts and is putting herself first as she gears up for her tour next month.”

It has been reported that dental nurse Kierans also split with Keoghan over his drinking. He had tipped her off before going official with Carpenter.

The split comes after Carpenter, who topped UK charts this summer with her hit Espresso, was hit in the chest with a firework while on stage.

She had been wowing fans in a black glittering leotard and suspenders as she headlined Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, when she got too close to the pyrotechnics.

Carpenter could be heard screaming as she hastily exited the stage accompanied by her backing dancers with the music still playing.

The former Disney star walked away without injury, according to reports.
