A Singapore Airlines flight traveling from London to Singapore encountered severe turbulence, resulting in at least 71 passengers sustaining injuries. The injured individuals were taken to Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital in Bangkok for medical treatment.
Among the injured passengers, six are reported to be in severe condition. Initially, it was stated by Kittipong Kittikachorn, the general manager of Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, that seven individuals were critically injured.
The injured passengers hail from various countries including Malaysia, the UK, New Zealand, Spain, the US, and Ireland. The incident highlights the importance of following safety protocols and guidelines while traveling by air to ensure the well-being of passengers.
