MMA star Sinead Kavanagh would love to fight on Katie Taylor's undercard if Eddie Hearn's Matchroom boxing secured an event in Dublin.
The Bellator featherweight defeated Janay Harding by unanimous decision last night at the 3 Arena in a much anticipated rematch of their 2018 fight, which Harding controversially won via doctor stoppage.
The Inchicore native is close friends with Irish Olympic gold medallist Kellie Harrington and would fancy a return to boxing, where she competed as an amateur.
Kavanagh is of the belief that if Taylor fights in Dublin, that women boxers should be showcased throughout the card. And if the opportunity presented itself, she would be more than happy to step inside the squared-circle once again.
"Definitely, like, why not have a few more Irish girls fighting on the card, and promote Irish women boxers," Kavanagh said after her win on Saturday.
"So, yeah I'd be well up for going down that road.
"Eddie Hearn, yeah."
