Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has launched a scathing assessment of Liverpool-linked midfielder Declan Rice's season at West Ham - insisting the Hammers' captain has to "do a lot more".
Rice, who was named as West Ham captain when Mark Noble hung up his boots at the end of last season, has been linked with a return to Chelsea, whom he played for during his academy years, as well as Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.
However, the England international hasn't been able to replicate the heights he hit for West Ham last campaign as they reached the semi-finals of the Europa League and secured a seventh-placed Premier League finish.

The Hammers are currently sat in 17th in the Premier League table and with the pressure growing on David Moyes, his side were knocked out of the FA Cup on Wednesday evening after a flurry of late Manchester United goals at Old Trafford goals secured a 3-1 victory for the Red Devils.
And Keane, who was on punditry duty for ITV last night, admitted he wants to see more from the West Ham midfielder as rumours continue to speculate his future at the London Stadium.
"He has first got to focus on West Ham and doing well for the rest of the season, but I don’t think he has been great this season, I don’t think he has kicked on for all the talk there has been about him - he needs to do a lot more," said the former Manchester United midfielder.
"He doesn’t score enough goals or get enough assists. I have been a fan of him, he is always fit, but I just want a little bit more from him. There is talk of him leaving for big money and competing with teams for trophies, and he needs to do a lot more, it is as simple as that.
"Sometimes I see him play at West Ham, and he goes through the motions and he needs to do a lot more to match the top midfielders in the country."
