During the Paris Games, Biles mentioned that the negative comments have subsided, indicating a positive shift in the public's perception. She emphasized the importance of taking things one day at a time with the support of her therapist while actively participating in the competition.

Biles also praised her competitor, Rebeca Andrade from Brazil, whom she previously expressed reluctance to compete against. Despite her earlier sentiments, Biles acknowledged Andrade's exceptional talent and character, describing her as an incredible athlete and person. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to compete alongside Andrade, considering it an honor.
