Simon Jordan insists Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis deserves all the 'trouble' Rafa Benitez could bring him should he decide to part ways with Steve Cooper.
Former Liverpool boss Benitez has emerged as a 'potential replacement' for Cooper at the City Ground following Forest's 4-0 defeat at Leicester City on Monday, their fifth loss on the spin.
Forest signed 22 players in the summer in order to establish themselves in the top-flight, and Jordan believes it is no surprise they are now bottom of the Premier League.

"Forest are roughly where I thought they'd be," he told talkSPORT. "I said at the beginning of the season I thought Forest would be in and amongst it, and there was outrage from fans because if you say anything that doesn't follow their line that everything's wonderful, then ultimately you're the devil incarnate.
"But they're in trouble and they're in trouble for a lot of reasons. Tragically, I think [Steve] Cooper's in trouble. I don't think he should be, but the owner is irrational. Please God, don't start talking to me about Rafa Benitez. If this guy [Evangelos] Marinakis fires Steve Cooper, then he deserves Rafa Benitez.
"He deserves all the trouble he will bring him, all the division, all of the things that Rafa Benitez has bought to most football clubs."
