Simon Jordan says there are "only certain" clubs bigger than Nottingham Forest, after Steve Cooper has reportedly become the subject of interest from Premier League clubs.
Reports have suggested Forest could face a fight to keep hold of their manager ahead of next season, with Cooper being under consideration by at least two other clubs. But the Welshman has brushed off interest by reiterating how much the football club and the job means to him.
Jordan, meanwhile, suggested that being a manager at Forest is a "remarkable" job for anyone and that with the right financial backing, Cooper could stay there for a significant time.

"There are only certain clubs in the Premier League that are bigger than Nottingham Forest," Jordan said on talkSPORT. "Nottingham Forest's achievements are quite remarkable.
"I've been at that football club and watched that fan base, I've seen how focused that fanbase can be. If Forest stay up, with an owner that's got the ambition he has, having learned the lessons.
"They bought a mountain of players. Next year they'll buy better players, different players, Premier League players that will be more ready for purpose. Steve Cooper will have a year's more experience.
"If they stay up, Nottingham Forest is a very, very good football club to stay at for a significant period of time."
