TalkSPORT host Simon Jordan has claimed that Newcastle United owner Amanda Staveley's support of the club's fans at Wembley in yesterday's Carabao Cup final was a 'wonderful PR spin'.
The Newcastle co-owner admitted that the club's owners were 'humbled' by the support fans showed after the Magpies' 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Wembley, but Jordan claims that they should be entitled to that support.
His opinion on Staveley's interview caused an argument between him, his co-host Jim White and former Arsenal defender Martin Keown, both of whom came to the defence of the Newcastle owner.

"I think they've done what they anticipated they would do, and I don't really understand this PR spin," Jordan said on talkSPORT's White and Jordan show this afternoon.
"You knew when you bought that football club that if you took it a cup final, you'd inundate London. So just dial the fake humility and take a look at the reality of what you've got here!
"I think it's ridiculous to turn around and say that. If I turned around and bought Newcastle and set the town on fire, I would know that if we made a league cup final, London would be inundated."
His co-host White questioned Jordan's point, saying: "I don't think it's fake humility to be fair. Is there anything wrong with her congratulating the fans?"
"No absolutely, I think it's just wonderful PR spin," Jordan replied.
"No, no, no, it's not PR spin," Keown said. "How could it be PR spin? She got emotional at the end, and the fans would never had heard that under Mike Ashley would they?
"She's saying that they don't deserve the fans because their support is so good and I think that's heartfelt."
Jordan was quick to disagree again, claiming: "No, it's preposterous rubbish. Because the one thing they do deserve, that ownership model, is those fans being behind them.
"Because you can walk into a football club and spend more money in one year than Mike Ashley probably spent in about five, you've given it the feel-good factor, you've bought it off the tyrant.
"The one thing you do deserve is an absolute supporting fanbase that you've put into a cup final."
"But you can't take that for granted," Keown replied. "She's certainly not taking it for granted. I think she's giving them a bit back here and saying, 'your support was wonderful'."
White also agreed with Keown, saying: "I think Martin is right, when Ashley was there, you didn't have the connection between fans and owners. Now there is!"
"Let's just get past the sentimental rubbish and look at the reality," Jordan quipped. "I'll tell you why, and people won't like the answer, but it's the owner's job to give everything that the fans want.
"If you don't, you're the devil incarnate. Now currently, these owners are giving fans everything they want, they're spending hundreds of millions if pounds on footballers, they're making sure the centre of the focus is on the fans, and there will come a point where there's a disconnect along the line.
"But right now, it's entirely appropriate that Amanda Staveley is patted on the back, the appointments made by her and others are patted on the back and if you can't get behind what they're doing right now, when in God's name can you get behind it?"
