Simon Jordan believes a change in ownership at Leeds United is imminent amid continuing links to 49ers Enterprises. The former Crystal Palace owner has heaped praise on current owner Andrea Radrizzani, but believes the club is an ownership change away from competing at the right end of the division.
Some supporters have made their frustrations clear on social media about the lack of investment into the current squad, with the Whites bracing themselves for another season fighting the drop. Jordan believes the Americans will take over at Elland Road, and he thinks they've already played a part in Jesse Marsch coming to the club.
The talkSPORT presenter didn't stop there. He went one further and said that he doesn't believe Marsch is the man to take Leeds United to the next level.

Jordan told talkSPORT: "I think with Leeds, I think they're an ownership model away from being a very significant, competing football club again. I think if they stay in the Premier League we might see that ownership model change.
"Andrea has done a great job. We spent time with him in Qatar and he's done a great job getting Leeds back into the Premier League. I do think there probably is an ownership change that needs to happen and you'll probably find it's the Americans.
"You don't see American investment into football clubs without necessarily some degree of engagement and that's why you've got an American manager in the dugout. I think Leeds are a management decision away from being a bigger football club because I don't think Jesse Marsch has got the chops.
"I think the ownership model will change and Leeds will kick up another gear. I think ultimately Leeds are going to have to spend more money than they're currently spending."
The Whites have reportedly agreed a £35million deal for Georginio Rutter, but Jordan feels that type of transfer is well within Leeds' current remit. He said:"Let's be clear, these clubs get £130million for opening their gates from the Premier League, plus TV companies.
"They can afford to be spending 30, 40, 50, 60 million per season on capitalisable transfer values. I don't look at it and go 'Wow Leeds are really going after it with £35million.' I watched Leeds in the last couple of games over the last week or so, I watched them against West Ham and I watched them in the cup, and it's clear to me while they've got good little players up top, they need a centre-forward up top.
"Bamford isn't going to be what he once was before, so they need to spend on players and £35million is a centre-forward isn't it?
