Pundit Simon Jordan says Nottingham Forest's big spending is not "crazy" after signing 16 players this summer transfer window.
The Reds have become the second highest spending club in the top-flight this summer, overtaking Tottenham. Forest's current spending total has risen to £143.5m following the latest signing of Morgan Gibbs-White - only Chelsea have spent more.
Reigning champions Manchester City have spent £112.1m thus far and Jordan was asked about whether Forest's huge spending has been significant or crazy. "It's only crazy if he can't afford to substantiate it, subsidise it if they go down and can't unload these players," he told talkSPORT.

"If he [Evangelo Marinakis] bought well, if these players have been bought at a reasonable price, even if they get sold at a depreciated price, they can still get Forest out of the cart if the worst was to happen.
"The man has a lot of money and is interested in building Nottingham Forest into a football club to embrace all the emotion and all the opportunity that Forest could get with a very decent manager like Steve Cooper."
