Broadcaster and pundit Simon Jordan has outlined what he thinks Jurgen Klopp needs to do at Liverpool - and why hope the Reds boss has similarities with Doctor Who.
Liverpool have gone through an inconsistent start to the season in both the Premier League and the Champions League this term. In terms of the top flight, the Reds are in ninth place with just 10 points from their opening seven fixtures.
In Europe, Liverpool had a bad start with a 4-0 defeat to Napoli in their first group game. But, they have since recovered with consecutive home victories of Ajax and Rangers.

Jordan has explained why he thinks are “in transition”, and has pointed to the club’s recent transfer business. Darwin Nunez arrived from Benfica in a big-money deal which could be worth up to £85.5million including add-ons, while Sadio Mane left for Bayern Munich.
The former Crystal Palace chairman has said that he “tires” with Klopp’s views at times, but explained why he thinks it would be a “big loss” to the Premier League were the Liverpool boss to leave Anfield.
“Jurgen Klopp is an outstanding manager,” Jordan told Talksport. “I don’t always concur with his views, as apparently he doesn’t always concur with mine.
“But right now the team are in a transition phase, and people are attributing statuses of influence to people like Jordan Henderson and when he’s not there the team are not playing very well and the team is diminished.
“People are winning the argument about what Trent Alexander-Arnold may well be, (Mohamed) Salah isn’t at it, (Darwin) Nunez hasn’t hit his straps yet, Virgil van Dijk may be coming to the end of a cycle.
“All of these questions have to be answered by elite managers. One of the things that Sir Alex Ferguson did over a significant period of time was keep refreshing and rebuilding.
“Now the landscape has changed, so the Man United team had less challenges at that time. They didn’t have no challenges, they had Arsenal and other sides that were giving them headaches at times.
“But this league with Manchester City, Man United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea and whoever else we want to throw in the mix, and maybe at some point in the future Newcastle, will keep on throwing out an evolution.
“Jurgen Klopp would be a loss to the Premier League. I do tire with his myopic one dimensional views about how the world should be structured for the benefit of Liverpool, but I guess that’s his job. His job is to promote, patronise and constantly put forward Liverpool’s point of view."
Jordan added: “I think Liverpool will find their feet again and regain their poise, but right now they’re off balance and I don’t think that leads to a conversation that involves Klopp departing.
“It must lead to a conversation where Klopp revitalises, re-energizes and recalibrates Liverpool back to where they were two or three years ago. Because right now, for whatever reason, they don’t seem to be there.
“It may simply be because he’s exhausted these players of what they’re capable of doing at the intensity he wants to play and he needs to change the balance, and I don’t see what that alternate challenge would be.
“Would it be going to Real Madrid or Barcelona? I suppose you could say that's the trajectory he would go on. But the Premier League is where they want to be, most of them, because of the opportunities of the economics and the value of players that they can sign.
“I know PSG will have an argument, and other teams, but I’d like to think that Klopp is like Doctor Who, he might just regenerate.”
