Neil Warnock has been touted to fill the vacant Rangers manager role.
Simon Jordan believes the veteran coach, 74, would be a brilliant fit for the position in Glasgow, insisting he could do the job 'in his sleep'.
Michael Beale was last night sacked by the Ibrox board following a 3-1 defeat to Aberdeen on Saturday. The result saw the Light Blues fall seven points behind Celtic in the Premiership just two months into the 2023/24 campaign.
The club's hierarchy has embarked on their search for a permanent replacement while Steven Davis takes temporary charge of the team.

And former Crystal Palace owner Jordan, who has a close relationship with Warnock, believes the Englishman would get the Gers faithful back on board.
"I would advocate for Neil," Jordan stated on talkSPORT. "Even at the stage he's at in his career, he's 72 [Warnock is 74] years young, he's not 72 years old. Absolutely, knowing Neil as I know him, my default setting would be to say someone like Warnock because I know him.
"I know that he would kick backside and take numbers up there. I know that he would concentrate people's minds and I know that he would get the fans onside.
"I know that Warnock could go and do that job in his sleep. I know that he could lift them. Whether he could overtake Celtic is a different matter but he could get them closer.
"Look at the jobs that he's done and look at the manner in which he's done most of the jobs that he's been in.
"Huddersfield last season were gone, done, toast, finished. They didn't just avoid relegation they strolled past it in the end. This guy could go straighten Rangers up."
Warnock last week left Huddersfield by mutual consent after eight league games.
Kevin Muscat is keen to speak to Rangers over the vacant Ibrox managerial position, according to reports.
Muscat is now the favourite with the bookies to become the next permanent manager of Rangers and talkSPORT reports that he is looking to speak to the club about the vacancy.
Muscat, who has been linked with the job in the past, is the current favourite at 10/3. He is in charge of Yokohama F. Marinos - Ange Postecoglou's former side.
