Simon Cowell's MAJOR weight loss since going vegan was 'almost instant'

Music mogul, Simon Cowell, 59, has lost a staggering 20Ibs since switching to a vegan diet and undergoing a lifestyle overhaul.

The Britain's Got Talent judge took on the diet after being hospitalised and "getting a bit of a wake-up call" in October 2017 after falling down the stairs due to low blood pressure .

He has now cut out red meat, dairy, sugar, bread and gluten after visiting the doctor.

It appears that he wasn't phased by this but was more worried about cutting out the booze.

"My first thought was 'what about the alcohol'?" he told Extra TV last month.

"The doctor said, 'maybe not quite as much as you had before' and I've stuck to it and it's easy" he claims.

Cowell was seen changing while filming new scenes of The X Factor at his Malibu home and the difference in his physique is astonishing compared to what he was. Putting on a new white shirt, behind a Bentley, Cowell smokes a cigarette while proudly showing off his slim new figure.

In 2018, Cowell was shockingly overweight and sparked concern with viewers when he appeared on Britain's Got Talent with a puffy, swollen face allegedly after the fall.

Simon now claims he copies his son, Eric, in what he eats.

"Apart from ice-cream, he actually likes water, eats all his raw vegetable. I'm on the Eric Cowell diet."

Although he has dramatically reduced his smoking habit, he vows that he's found a much healthier life balance.

"I feel much better this year, I'm not having so many meetings or late night calls, it's a bit more of a balance" he admits.

As a result of his lifestyle change, Simon now gets to spend more time with his son, Eric.
