Simon Cowell has teased that his son Eric Cowell is opinionated when it comes to his father's career, with the music mogul adding that the youngster is "normally right".
The entrepreneur, 63, spoke about his son, eight, whilst on Loose Women this afternoon. He was asked during the interview whether Eric shares his opinion about things.
The father-of-one responded: "Oh my god, yes." Simon, who shares Eric with fiancée Lauren Silverman, 45, added: "Non-stop by the way. [...] He's got his own opinions."
"I've got a good idea about what he's gonna be when he's older," the TV producer said. Simon added: "He's his own man which is really, really important. He's a sweetheart."

Simon is responsible for shows such as Britain's Got Talent, The X Factor and America's Got Talent. He has teased that he values Eric's opinion about such projects in his career.
After it was suggested that his son could act as "audience research," Simon commented: "Yeah. That's the great thing, you're right." He went on to further discuss this.
He said: "[When] I watch [my shows] before they go out, I'm kinda looking at Eric in the corner of my eye thinking 'does he like something? Does he not like something?' Annoyingly, he's normally right."
The interview saw Simon discuss being a parent. He told the panelists on the ITV show this afternoon: "I was late to the party. It was the best thing that ever happened to me."
Jane Moore, 60, recalled: "I've interviewed you many times over the years and you were always adamant that you weren't going to have children". Simon responded: "I know."
Simon was among the guests on the latest episode of Loose Women. The panel show continues tomorrow on ITV and ITVX from 12.30pm, with episodes airing on weekdays.
