A building in Newark has been damaged following a collision. On Saturday, September 24, a vehicle collided with the corner of the NSK building in Northern Road, in the town's industrial estate shortly before 8pm.
One man was taken to hospital to be treated for a head injury. Damage was caused to the building's walls as well as a window, which has been cordoned off whilst repairs take place.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "We were called at 7.53pm on Saturday (24 September 2022) to reports of a car crashing into a building in Northern Road, Newark. A man was treated in hospital for a head injury that is not life-altering or life-threatening.

"The road was closed while incident was dealt with and has since reopened.” Residents in the area were shocked about the collision.
A 27-year-old mum who did not wish to be named said: "It was very surprising when I saw it on Facebook. I suppose it was someone not from this area as everyone knows there is a turn there, unless it was like a health issue maybe."
Another resident who did not wish to be named said: "I didn't know there was an accident, I hope everyone is alright."
