Celtic have banked a significant bonus from UEFA for advancing to the knockout play-off round of the Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers' side have secured qualification to the next stage of the competition with one matchday still to play - when they face Aston Villa next week.
However, the club have guaranteed they will bank another €1m as a result of making it to the knockout play-off round. All clubs progressing receive the seven-figure bonus payment.
Then, Celtic will also receive another minimum guaranteed payment of €3.58m through the league phase ranking payments.
Every club in the league phase receives a minimum of €275k, with that figure multiplied for every position higher in the table they finish.
As it stands, if Celtic were to finish in 18th then they would receive €5.2m, if they were to finish in 24th then they would receive €3.58m. Both fees would be on top of the guaranteed €1m progression payment.
