It has been a while, but football clubs are once again able to take their pre-season adventures across the globe.
Chelsea are no different, starting with a rigorous training camp in tinsel town itself - making use of the world class facilities at the University of California, Los Angeles. The Blues have four fixtures in total over the other side of the Atlantic, starting with a match against Liga MX side Club America in Las Vegas.
They then travel across the country to North Carolina, where they will be hosted by Charlotte FC in the 74,000+ Bank of America Stadium, also the home of the Carolina Panthers. This is followed by a trip south to Orlando, Florida, to play very familiar opposition in London rivals Arsenal.
So, it's quite the trip for the west Londoners, covering plenty of the fourth largest country in the world, and football.london has it covered every step of the way as Chelsea correspondent Adam Newson follows the Blues around the States.
