Manchester United fans are urging Fulham to take Andreas Pereira off their hands despite the midfielder netting a fantastic farewell goal.
The 26-year-old hit a fine long-range effort to hand loan club Flamengo a 1-0 win away at Deportes Tolima in the first leg of their Copa Libertadores tie on Thursday. It’s not the first time that Pereira has fired home a thunderbolt this summer, also netting a daisy-cutter from distance in May.
The United outcast is set to return to Carrington after the Brazilian club decided against making his move permanent. The player has failed to win over United fans during his 75 first-team games.

Many were disgruntled with the idea that he could be brought back into the squad under Erik ten Hag. However, returning Premier League outfit Fulham have been linked with a Pereira transfer.
United fans on social media who reacted to Thursday’s goal tagged Fulham in their comments, begging that the Cottagers take him off their hands. A number of Twitter alluded to the perception of Pereira only playing well during the off-season.
