In an event that opened with Kate Moss and ended with Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista, it would take something pretty special to steal the show.
But Sienna Miller did just that at the Vogue World event last night when she arrived wearing an ivory Schiaparelli creation. The two-piece, comprised of crumpled fabric forming a cropped shirt and balloon-like skirt, was stomach baring, revealing Miller’s newly announced baby bump sitting pretty in the middle, like a pearl within a high fashion clam.
The look was completed with sheer black tights, huge golden eye socket earrings (also Schiaparelli), patent black heels and Miller’s trademark messy up-do, as well as a healthy dose of pregnancy glow.
And while Miller may have recently landed the role of chief M&S brand ambassador — you’ve probably seen the TV ads — last night she firmly putting to bed any claims that she’s become a high street girlie. Schiaparelli couture is about the furthest thing you could get from Marks and Sparks, after all.
Stylist Harry Lambert, who is responsible for red carpet looks from the likes of Emma Corrin and Harry Styles, was the one to put together Miller’s look, having also lent a hand to a host of other looks seen on the red carpet that night.
Another to have earned the “best dressed” consensus was Jodie Turner-Smith’s Viktor & Rolf moment, which showed the actress in a skin-baring black bodysuit, which was essentially just one big bow. Lambert was not leaving crumbs on the Vogue World carpet, let’s put it like that.
Miller’s ultra chic bump-baring moment is the first official reveal of her pregnancy, though the world has known about it since she was papped strolling along a beach in Ibiza with a noticably bigger stomach last month.
The father is Oli Green, 26-year-old actor and upcoming star of The Crown season six, who is 15 years younger than Miller, 41. She previously addressed their age gap in an interview with Vogue in 2022, saying: “There’s a misogyny that is ingrained in men of my age and older that I don’t see in [the] generation below.”
Miller already has one daughter, 11-year-old Marlowe, with her ex Tom Sturridge, who is currently dating Alexa Chung. “I’m really happy for them. It’s genuinely lovely,” she told Vogue in the 2022 interview, before joking about the “wardrobe access that Marlowe will have between the two of us [her and Alexa].”
