English club winger Joel Grayson crossed for an exceptional score in the Papa John's Regional Two championship final at Twickenham.
The game was played between Old Northamptonians RFC and Horsham last weekend. The aforementioned side were victorious on the day in a 35-40 scoreline.
But it was Grayson's try that sealed their win in their final few minutes.
The scores were locked in at 28-33 to Old Northamptonians with just three minutes to go. After going through the phases, full-back Rory Seymour whips a looping pass to the left flank into the grateful hands of Grayson.
The number 11 produces a jinking side-step, taking him dangerously close to the touchline, but his deception works on the defender.
Two players hare down on the flyer and he looks to be destined for touch, but he manufactures an immaculate pirouette, leaving the two would-be tacklers in his wake.
With one player to beat, he accelerates with impressive speed and rips around the last man, gliding beside the uprights for his hat-trick try. The right winger, James Greensmith, added the extras with 30 seconds on the clock.

The try proved to be pivotal for Old Northamptonians as Horsham crossed with a rolling maul in the dying moments to take themselves within five points. But it was too little, too late.
