Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh has led a delegation to the Belgian capital, Brussels, to participate in the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee (AHLC) scheduled to be held on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister is set to hold a number of meetings with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Parliament officials, in addition to delivering a speech on Palestine at the meeting.
Shtayyeh is set to call for compelling Israel to respect the signed agreements, stop the illegal deductions from Palestinian funds, as well as urge donor countries to continue their support for Palestine.
Tuesday’s meeting will be hosted by EU High Representative and chaired by Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anniken Huitfeldt.
The AHLC has served, since 1993, as a key policy-level coordination mechanism for financial assistance to the Palestinian people.
