Should the Ravens have interest in QB Tyler Huntley after he’s released by Browns?

The Baltimore Ravens will enter the 2024 NFL season with just two quarterbacks on the 53-man roster, but a familiar face is available heading into Week 1.

Mary Kay Cabot is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have released former Ravens Pro Bowl quarterback Tyler Huntley. The team will move forward with Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robinson as the backup quarterbacks on the roster as it prepares for its Week One matchup with the Cowboys.

Huntley signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Utah in 2020. After season-ending injuries to Jackson, Huntley took over as the team’s starter to finish the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He almost succeeded in leading Baltimore to an upset victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in the playoffs.

Through four seasons with the Ravens, Huntley completed 221 passes for 1,957 yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
