The Ravens are always looking to add talent to the roster, and with Broderick Washington starting to fall out of favor, a former Eagles pass rusher could fit the Bill.
Philadelphia is waiving their 2017 first-round pick, and if he goes unclaimed on waivers, Baltimore could be the perfect landing spot.
If a team were to claim Barnett off of waivers, it would owe him under $500K for the rest of the season. A plenty reasonable price to justify a claim. https://t.co/TsRrkWbtV2

Through 11 weeks this season, Washington has 12 total tackles, one sack, and one fumble recovery while losing snaps to Brent Urban and Jadeveon Clowney.
Barnett missed last week’s win over Kansas City for personal reasons, and he had yet to practice this week while remaining away from the team.
Waiving Barnett allows him to land with what should be a host of suitors interested in a physical, run-stopping pass rusher.
Barnett, 27, was a first-round pick by the Eagles in the 2017 NFL Draft, and he’s been solid, logging 21.5 sacks over his seven-year career.
Moving on from Barnett will allow rookie pass rusher Nolan Smith to see more reps on the edge for Philadelphia.
The Eagles wanted more pressure on the opposing quarterback, and according to PFF, Barnett has 0 pressures in 55 pass-rush snaps this season.
He’s stout against the run, bringing physicality to multiple spots along the defensive front.
